Kathryn Ann M. Hadsell
Kathryn Ann McGillicuddy Hadsell, 79 a devoted mother and grandmother died Saturday, January 06, 2007 at Candler Hospital. The native and lifelong resident of Savannah was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Mrs. Hadsell dedicated her life and achieved her greatest accomplishment, raising her six children. She was predeceased by her parents, John McGillicuddy and Minnie Purcell Campbell, and a grandson, Warren F. Kent, III.
Surviving are her children, William “Billy” V. Hadsell, III and his wife, Peggy, of Lawrenceville, GA, Dr. Nancy A. Hadsell of Denton, TX, Diane M. Spicer and her husband, Frank, of Tampa, FL, Dr. Michael J. Hadsell and his wife, Pamela, of Augusta, GA, Laura H. Anderson and Carol H. Gaskin and her husband, Charles “Bud”, all of Savannah; her sister, Jane M. Morel, and her daughters, Kathryn Morel and Mary Jane Morel Sommers of Savannah; grandchildren, Jim Hadsell, Ian Hadsell, Kathryn Howard, Brian Kent and his wife, Elizabeth, Carolyn Kent, Jennifer Stuart and her husband, Jay, Amanda Morton and her husband, Ben, Michael Hadsell, Jr., Mary Hadsell, Anna Hadsell, Adam Gaskin and Brian Gaskin; three great-grandchildren, Justice, Adriene and Matthew, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 9, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, January 10, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Interment will follow in Catholic Cemetery.
